At SafetyNet IT, we want to keep everything as simple as possible. Some of our methods may not be what you're used to, but they have been used in industry for years, and so far they've never been extended to home users. Good news for you: we're going to change this.

Remote assistance?

First difference: we will first try to fix problems remotely. This means a quick resolution for you, and you won't have to take time off work or lug a heavy computer into a shop on Saturday morning.

All we have to do is talk you through a couple of easy steps to allow us onto your computer, but as long as you have a working internet connection and about 30 seconds-worth of patience, it's not usually a problem.

Occasionally though, there are problems which just can't be fixed remotely and we need to see the computer, or your home setup, to diagnose the problem. This, again, is where we differ from other I.T. companies; we will come out to you at a time of your convenience. If we can't fix it there and then, we'll take it away, fix it in our workshop and bring it back, when it suits you*.

Easy pricing

The final piece in our matrix is our simple pricing strategy. All work is charged by the hour at a rate of £41.25 per hour (+VAT). We don't charge callout fees for anywhere within the South Manchester / North Cheshire region (we will happily fix problems outside of this area, but a callout fee will be charged), and that's it (obviously, we never charge any callout fee for a remote fix, no matter where you are).

Similarly, if you choose to buy a computer, or any equipment through us, the price you pay includes delivery and installation by one of our engineers at a location of your choice. No hidden extras, no ‘special charges’, no fuss.

We can do simple!

Don't let our technical expertise fool you though into thinking that we're only interested in really thorny, difficult problems, nothing could be further from the truth... We're just as happy transferring iTunes onto your new laptop as we are at setting up your slick new home office, or even just showing you how to surf the internet safely and effectively.
